The book came in the time stated. It was a birthday gift for a friend who had the first book. She was so thrilled to get this book, so yes, it did meet my expectations and more. I thought the book was well written and had a lot of information. I am thinking of ordering the book for myself. If you are interested in the history of some of the fine supper clubs in Wisconsin, whether still operating or not, I would definitely recommend this book and the first book by this author as they cover different supper clubs with no repeat information. The photos are clear and add to the mystic of supper clubs.
We have the first book also! Good description of popular Wisconsin supper Clubs. We take the book with us when we go to one of these Clubs and sometimes the owner signs them. We date our visit and list what we had when we visited.

These have been gifts to my grandfather, whom loves to drive around WI trying out various establishments. Now that he is getting older, it is harder for him to do. So we thought these books would be a great read for him.
