Got this for my 12 yr old nephew's birthday. It's right up his ally!! The pics are fun without being cheesy or gorey. There's a funny description of each character which helps give them some depth and personality. There are some very simple beginner projects, and some good advanced. The book itself is colorful and well made. Overall, completely worth the money!
I bought this for my 8-year-old boy's birthday. I was afraid it might be difficult and that he'd get frustrated, but the book starts out with easier designs and they get harder as you go. He figured out how to draw the first couple and impressed all his 2nd grade friends with his creations. I suspect some of the designs are a little too complicated for him, but he has taken inspiration from what is in the book and it's been a good jumping off point. An older boy would probably be capable of following the directions more closely.
I purchased this for my 9 year old son. He has shown an interest in drawing and asked for art supplies for Christmas. He has thoroughly enjoyed flipping through and looking at the different options. There are some beginner projects on up to the more skilled artist. Happy with the purchase!
better then expected its good quality and really shows them step by step how to do draw it all, there is so many options to choose from for them to draw! i would say its for older kids maybe 7 and up to be able to do this.
This is a great how-to for drawing all different kinds of characters. I bought this for my client with Autism and I just found that he's been working on different alien and robot characters lately, and they've become his new favorite things to draw! Great buy!!

I bought this for my nephew, who loves to draw. He opened it on Christmas and hasn't put it down. It's a good thing it happened to be his last present because he didn't look at anything else the whole time he was at our home. I would recommend this for any boy who is into drawing! My grandson goes through a ream of paper (at least) a week! He is having a blast with all of his drawing books that I bought from Amazon. They all arrived in great packaging and they were just as promised!
