Semper fi, brother...great job on this book. But I do have to nitpick one minor issue. On page 19, I believe, you mention that the Constitution was not "signed into law" until after the Bill of Rights was included. That is technically incorrect. The Constitution was ratified on June 21, 1788 when New Hampshire became the 9th of the 13 states to vote for ratification. Virginia and New York also ratified in that year. The first Congress under the new Constitution was convened on March 4, 1789. The 12 amendments that ultimately became the Bill of Rights were approved by the House and Senate in September of 1789 but only 10 were ratified by the States in December of 1791. The last states to vote to ratify the Constitution itself were North Carolina (November 1789) and Rhode Island (May 1790), and by that time it was obviously a moot point.So while most of the states demanded a Bill of Rights as a condition of ratification, the Constitution was ratified and in effect well before they were passed by the Congress and ratified by the States...and only two states withheld their ratification of the document until the Bill of Rights was approved by Congress...but not ratified by the States to become law.Nitpicking words, maybe...but that is what those who wish to mutate our Constitution into their own meaning do all the time, so we must be precise ourselves. ;-)

This book should be required reading for anyone taking an Oath of Office. Especially politicians!
An amazing read from beginning to end. Very well put together. What I like the most is how direct and to the point it was written. It reminds the reader of what the oath means and why it is so important. It reminds us that no one man is bigger than the constitution and for those of us who have the ability have the responsibility to support and defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
I am a war era veteran. I am true to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. My resolve is set in stone, My integrity righteous, and my ability to be a servant to God and Country established. I am an oath taker and patriot.
